Using Card Chain

Card Chain grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the game for lawful entertainment. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Card Chain is a general-audience game and is not directed specifically to children under 13. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian to use an online service, that permission is required.

Acceptable use

Do not disrupt the service, bypass security or administration controls, submit harmful code, impersonate another person, interfere with other players, scrape non-public endpoints, or make automated requests that place an unreasonable load on the service. Public pages may be linked and shared normally.

Access may be limited or blocked when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, or third-party rights.

Game availability and changes

Card Chain is provided on an “as available” basis. Puzzles, scoring, hints, card data, advertising, reminders, and other features may change. A particular puzzle or feature may be corrected, replaced, interrupted, or removed when needed for maintenance, security, accuracy, or legal compliance.

The service does not promise uninterrupted availability or that every card record, image, hint, route, score, notification, or archived result will always be complete or error-free.

Scores, reminders, and local data

Attempts, completions, streaks, and personal statistics are primarily stored in your browser or device. They can be lost when site data is cleared, a browser is replaced, or a device changes. Reminder delivery depends on the browser, operating system, hosting service, and push provider and is not guaranteed.

Advertising and third-party services

Card Chain may display advertising supplied by Google AdSense and may use third-party hosting, notification, card-data, image, and analytics services. Those services may apply their own terms and privacy policies. Advertising does not represent an endorsement by Card Chain.

Do not click advertisements to support Card Chain, repeatedly refresh advertisements, or encourage artificial impressions or clicks.

Intellectual property and fan content

The Card Chain software, original interface, puzzle system, scoring, and original written content are project materials. You may not copy or commercially reuse them except as allowed by law or with permission.

Magic: The Gathering, card names, card images, artwork, symbols, and related marks belong to Wizards of the Coast and their respective rights holders. Card Chain does not grant a license to reuse those materials.

Card Chain is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains local storage, optional analytics, contact messages, reminders, advertising, cookies, retention, and available choices. It forms part of these terms.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, Card Chain is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or other protections that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, the project owner is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of—or inability to use—the service, loss of local progress, third-party services, advertisements, or external links.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the service, advertising, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
