      How to play

      Connect the two cards

      1. Look at either highlighted word. The start side needs a card beginning with its word; the target side needs a card ending with its word.
      2. Search for a card name. Choose a suggestion or type the complete name, then tap Add card.
      3. Meet in the middle. Keep adding cards from either side until both halves connect.

      Example: if the target is Open the Vaults, a card ending in “Open,” such as Break Open, can be added above it.

      Progress: unfinished chains, hints, and clues are saved automatically in this browser. Undo removes one card. Restart asks for confirmation before clearing the current attempt.

      Card preview: hover or focus to magnify a card. Click or tap it to open a full reading-size preview.

      Easy: follows one perfect chain. Use the button below the start-side word or above the target-side word to reveal one additional letter.

      Hard: accepts any route within ten steps of perfect. Choose either side to reveal letters from a shortest route between your current frontiers.

      Archive: replay earlier Easy and Hard puzzles without changing the live streak.
